WHAT HUIJSEN SAID
Speaking for the first time as a Madrista during his unveiling, Huijsen said: "I want to thank the president. I've wanted to be here since day one. Since Madrid called, he had no eyes for any other team. I want to thank my family, from driving to training every day, to traveling with me… And thank you to my brothers.
"I'm coming to the best club in the world and I'm here to give it my all. With humility, and I hope we can win many trophies together. Madrid is the club of my life. Thank you very much. Hala Madrid."

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Madrid did not hesitate to pay the £50million release clause put in place by Bournemouth for the young Spain star. And with reports suggesting Huijsen will be a starter under Xabi Alonso next season, he has every reason to be smiling from ear to ear.
